Caledonia Bar Strip-Out and Refurbishment

Project Overview

To deliver the full strip out and refurbishment of the existing Caledonia Bar within Glasgow Airport. All works were carried out within a live, security-controlled Airside airport environment, requiring detailed planning, coordination with stakeholders, and strict adherence to operational and safety requirements.

Scope of Works

The project included:

• Full strip out of the existing bar, including fixtures, finishes, and redundant services
• Refurbishment and reconfiguration of the main bar area to enhance layout, flow, and customer experience
• Manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery incl. bar units and feature elements
• Upgrades to customer-facing areas to align with refreshed branding and improve overall look and feel
• Refurbishment of associated facilities to enhance overall passenger experience
• Installation of new flooring and full internal redecoration
• New lighting installation to enhance ambience and functionality
• Alterations to small power installations to suit the revised layout and equipment requirements
• Coordination with airport operations and compliance teams
