Project Overview
To deliver a full strip out of the existing premises followed by a comprehensive fit out to create a modern, high capacity dining space suitable for a busy airport environment. The works were delivered within a live, security-controlled Airside airport environment, requiring meticulous planning, strict compliance with airport regulations, and close coordination with multiple stakeholders.
Scope of Works
The project included:
• Full strip out previous unit, including M&E, partitions, flooring, ceilings, and fixtures
• Complete front-of-house fit out, including counters, seating areas, lighting, new flooring, ceilings, wall finishes, and decorative elements including signage
• Reconfiguration of service areas, to support efficient passenger self-service and high-volume operation
• Upgrades to bar and customer-facing areas to align with brand identity
• Full M&E installation, including power, lighting, data, and fire alarm integration
• Coordination with airport security, fire safety, and operational teams
Challenges & Outcomes
The challenges and outcomes included:
• Live airport environment: Strict logistics planning and controlled working methods ensured no disruption to surrounding operations.
• Complex M&E integration: Early coordination with airport technical teams ensured seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
